Almost there!!! I worked on the right hand figure, finishing it up today. Now just a few places of the background to fill in and the rug will be finished!!! I hope you have enjoyed this one. I’ll be doing another after a few days!!! : )

Today, I spent the time fixing “holidays” at the left side of the rug and finishing up the background on the left.
As you know, I don’t like to leave the background for last… so I try to get most of it done while I am doing the motifs! Makes the rug a lot more interesting as I have a motif to look forward to at the finish!!!
(Size of Rug is 26 inches by 38 inches…done in 100 per cent wools, both as-is and hand-dyed)
Now the left hand side of the rug is finished!!! Hooray!!! LOL

TA-DAH!!!!!! Here are the faces…and, you guessed it, potatoes!!!! (Remember the success of the “Mr. Potato Head game”?) LOL
Also, you can see I am putting the colours I want into the lettering now so the letters will show up nicely against the cream background! I have also adjusted the lower right of the rug to add my initials (underground) and redo a bit of the “ground” and background under one of the character’s feet. : )
