New Hooked Rug – Day 48

I really, really like doing the borders as I go!!!    : )   As I looked at the rug this morning, I couldn’t imagine finishing the center and the floral/leaf borders and then spending time going all around the rug doing the black mix border!!!!!  Hours and hours of the same thing…because even though this outer border isn’t really wide, it takes a long time to hook!!!!! LOL  I think I’d not be as enthusiastic to finish the rug if I had all that border left to do!!!  Now I have some leaves and flowers to hook near to the finish line!!!

Hooray!  Since I got quite a bit done today…  now I’ll go outside and enjoy some sunshine!  : )  Hope you are having a great weekend!

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!
