Only a little time today!  : )  Just a bit of work on the teal border.  : )

Maybe the thunderstorm will let up soon.  Whoops.. I think it’s starting to thunder again!

Happy Hooking!  : )  Sunnie : )

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Hi Jean… : ) No, this rug isn’t my design. It is a Harry Fraser company pattern called “Helen’s Tapestry”.
(The Bradley Primitive rug I did earlier was a Fraser pattern too.) : ) I was going to do one of my own rugs for this second one but this design just called my name!!! LOL

But…I had to redesign this rug when I received the pattern on the wrong linen backing! : ) It was supposed to be on linen suitable for fine, narrow cut wool, but it arrived on linen only suitable for the medium cuts of wool.

So instead of sending it back, I decided to redesign it for the little wider cuts and am having a great time doing it! : )
The original border was impossible for me to redesign with the animals and ferns, etc. so I designed a whole new border for it!! (only a 4 inch and 5 inch border)

Glad to hear from you!!! Hugs to you! Sister S/J : )
