New Hooked Rug – Day 47 ~ Helen’s Tapestry

I like the green grass…so I went on to the antique black above and replaced the back end of the deer or whatever it was with one of the birds from the border.  : )  Next, I think I’ll do another bunny and then more flowers on the right side….and see how that looks!!!  : )

No rain today!!!  I can hardly believe it!!!!!  LOL  : )

Happy Hooking!!  Sunnie  : )

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Your bird looks much better than the deer that was originally there. And now I can see and understand the border much better. The folk art border is such a beautiful frame for this rug.

Wonderful job you’re doing. And now you don’t have to take time off from hooking to build an ark. (but please, send your rain to me ~~ we could use it).
