Bradley Primitive & Helen’s Tapestry Rugs/Extra/Sunnie

I promised to show both of these rugs whan they were completely finished, with the edges whipped with wool yarn and the rug tape put on, etc.  Here they are… finished and ready to be shown in the Green Mountain Rug Hooking Guild’s show at the Shelburne Museum in Vermont!    : )

I do hope that some of you who have watched the progress of these rugs will hook them yourselves…they were such fun to do and I know you would enjoy them!  (If you do hook them, send me a picture and I’ll put it on my Blog!!!!!)  : )

  1. Oh Sunnie, they’re stunning! I appreciate all the effort you put into each rug and it shows. Great colors and beautiful hooking. Will they do any judging at the show? I’d vote for you for sure.

  2. Sunnie thanks for showing them in their completed glory.

Sorry …for the last ten days I have been unable to “see” blogs with photos on them as our bandwidth is horrendous at present..all I see are the tops of photos. Hope it gets back to normal with the “new” month soon….. I had better stop looking at some of the blogs that have over ten photos per post!

  3. Sunnie, both rugs turned out beautifully, as I knew they would. I had forgotten, while you were working on Helen’s Tapestry, just how beautiful the Bradley rug was. Thank you so much for posting them both in their finished glory.

The Homeplace rug is also moving along and I love each post you do on it. It’s such a happy rug and always brings a smile to my face.

  4. Thanks so much, everyone! : ) I am glad to have these rugs finished and ready to be in the Shelburne show in November! : )
I’m making progress on my Homeplace Primitive…but must work on Santas at the same time to be ready for my November show too!!! LOL Whew! : )
    Hugs, Sunnie : )
