I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Sunnie, it’s stunning! I just know it’s owner will love it…..you’ve done such a wonderful job!! As much as I’ve loved all of the rugs you’ve done, I have to say that I think Homeplace is my favorite. It’s just a happy rug.

  2. Sunnie,
It is such wonderful rug. A happy place to go in our minds;)
I must be the worlds slowest hooker, I am still trudging along on mine. How many hours a day did you put into it?

  3. Thank you, Debbie and Kathleen! I know the customer will love it…(I’ve been sending her pictures!!!) so that makes me happy!!! : )

Debbie…I just worked on it whenever I had the time!!! Sometimes 4-6 hours a day, sometimes 1/2 hour!!! Just when I had a few minutes or a whole day!!! LOL

Last year (2008) I also did the two blog rugs – Bradley Primitive and Helen’s Tapestry – hooked about 12 chairpads and made approx 20-30 Santas as well as doing this rug…so I am busy with other projects as well as the main one I’m working on!!! Whew!!! LOL
    Hugs, Sunnie : )
