New Hooked rug-MYSTERY2/Day 7~Sunnie

Zipping right along here on Day 7!!!   ; )   I am using a lot of my blues for the clothing…both newly cut and woolworms and using a lot of leftovers in the padula flowers and the leaves.

I have beeen fiddling with the border and changed my mind about 4 times (!!) LOL…but have decided now and will start on the border soon.  As you know, I don’t like to leave the border for last but do it along with the center…so that when I get close to the finish, I have both motifs and border to work on!!  : )

I lightened the photo below so you can see  (I hope!!) LOL  …that I’ve used woolworms in the leaves and different greens in the “grasses”.  Also the “grass” in which the flowers are growing (!!) is a deep turquoise!  : )

Happy Hooking!!!  (I’ve been working fast on this one because I’m preparing for company later this month and will probably get only a small bit done each day while they are here!!! ) : )

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!
