New Mystery Rug-2011/Day 12/Sunnie/Old Crow Farm

art, folk art, rug hooking, hooked rugs, wool, fiber art

Here we go on Day 12….

Sometimes it is not very exciting to “fill in”!!!!   But it has to be done!!!    : )  I’m working on some more “shading” for tomorrow’s post.  I’m doing it with just different colours of wool that I have…not 6 or 8 value swatches (as I might do if this were a “formal” narrow cut pattern).  🙂

Oh yes…I forgot to say that the size of the rug is 28 x 37.

Are we having fun yet?  LOL  I am!!  Have an “enchanting” day!!!  Sunnie  😉

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Sunnie,
Goody, goody gumdrop!! More blocked off areas. I am going to throw out a wild guess that you have at least one animal under the blocks. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I love not dealing with the hooking police!

    Stay warm and cozy!

  2. Sunnie,

Wait a minute, I think “enchanting” is a clue. So many ways to go on that. Need to see if my imagination is working.
