I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Sunnie – I discovered your blog by after seeing your post on yahookers. I don’t know if you have met people in the Oregon rug hooking community, but I wanted to extend a warm welcome. You appear to live very close to my house, and I have come to know the Portland area rug hooking community quite well, so I would be happy to hook you up.

  2. Hello Kay…I haven’t “hooked up” with anyone yet as I have been busy getting settled in, unpacking and organizing and getting all my insurances, social security, doctors, etc. changed to Oregon from Vermont…!!! Whew…what a job! LOL
I will be happy to find rug hookers close to me to get started with a new group of hookers. I had two lovely hooking groups in Vermont so I miss both of them!
In mid-September, I will take my husband’s ashes back to Vermont for burial. After that, and with the onset of the cooler weather, I will be ready to enjoy a new rug hooking group!! 🙂 I would be happy for your help to find friends who play with wool..!!! Hugs, Sunnie 🙂
