2014-New Mystery Rug/Sunnie/rug hooking/misc wool strips-Day 11

Quick Post today..!!!!   I am filling in background and working on tree branches and leaves…I can’t believe how much background this rug has when there are so many motifs!!!!!!    LOL   Thank goodness I didn’t rely on leftovers for this background as it has taken about 1/2 yard so far and I am just a little over half finished!!!!!   🙂

I will be doing another leftover woolworm rug for the Rug Hooking Daily Challenge Group…THE GREAT DEWORMING MARATHON…!     It will be called  “Nine, Ten, a Good Fat Hen”…I haven’t drawn it out yet…but I have the words on a piece of paper!!!   LOL         If you want to have fun and use up lots of those leftover worms, come join us!!!

Here is Progress on Day 11…    Happy Hooking!  Sunnie  🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Wow Sunnie, you are really going to town with this rug. I love the smoke coming out of the chimneys. By hook or by crook, you are gonna use up those extra wool worms.
