New BBB Mystery Rug/Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs-Day 4

Ah Hah…!!!   Another Day, Another bluebird!!!   …l0l…

Having a great time and enjoying all the wools I haven’t used for awhile!   For part of the design of this rug, I was inspired by several quilts and fun drawings that had leaves with either bright dots or bright lines on them.   I thought it would be a good way to use up small leftovers!  🙂

So here is Progress on Day 4…Hope everyone is staying warm in the cold parts and cool in the hot parts of the planet..!!!!   Happy Hooking!  Sunnie  🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. We were having snow this morning but it was melting as it fell. A good day to hook if I had the time.
I love that quiet little blue bird.
Stay warm and contended with your pretty wool.

  2. HI Julia…we have ice drops hanging from the plants outside my window!!! And from the railing! But the sun is shining and hopefully it will warm up a little bit today.
    I’m having fun with bluebirds!!!!!!
I will think good thoughts for a nice bit of time for you to sit and hook…or just a few moments to sit and look at your Grandfather and think about all that lovely wool you will use when you have the time!
    Hugs, Sunnie 🙂
