New Rug “Old Crow Farm”-Magdalena-style/Sunnie/ rug hooking-Day 16

Quick post today!   I was able to fill in background, especially around the fox, put in another heart and circle and tidy up some “holidays”!   🙂

Hope I can hook for a time this evening!   I am almost finished with the right side of the rug but have the upper border to do, some background to do, a couple more motifs to do and some “re-do’s” to do…to complete the right side!   then, off to the left and some more animals and birds!!!   Are we having fun yet?   …lol…

Here is Progress on Day 16…Happy Hooking!  Sunnie  🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. I see that you changed the blue ball by the fox, so now it looks like a flower.
I love how you chose the foxy colors. He’s very handsome your fox.
Did you had skunks and raccoons visit your farm in Vermont? They would make a great addition to your animals.

    Have a great weekend.

  2. Yes, we did have a few (thankfully!!!!!) skunks and raccoons at our property. I don’t have room for a raccoon but I am thinking about a skunk!!!!! …lol… I haven’t decided about all the animals on the left side yet…!
I was really hunting and hunting for the rust coloured small wool pieces and leftover woolworms for my fox!!!! It’s fun to see my leftovers getting smaller and smaller!!!!
    Happy Hooking! Hugs, Sunnie 🙂
