New Rug “Old Crow Farm”-Magdalena-style/Sunnie/rug hooking-Day 17

Another quick post!   I was able to spend some time last night filling in more background and hooking the scrappy border at the top of the rug from the right to the center!  🙂

I need to finish or to re-do anything in the center that needs doing before going on to the left side of the rug.  I have one crow hooked at the bottom left……did that in one of the early days, so there’s a start!  I’m now thinking what I want on the left side.   I have “vague” animals drawn on the left but will change the generic to the animals I really want…!!!

As I look at the completed parts of the rug, I am very happy with how it looks!   I am pleased with the 3 background burgundies and I have my earlier Magdalena-style rug on the loveseat so I can see it as I work.   I liked doing it in the lighter background and am glad I did something different for this rug.   It will be great to have it in front of the loveseat when I want to give the Bradley Primitive a rest…!!!

So here is Progress on Day 17…Happy Hooking!  Sunnie  🙂
