Mystery Rug – “SLC” – /Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs-Day 3

Quick post today as I’m heading out to the Hook-in!  I do a lot of my “finishing” work at hook-ins…so I was preparing my last 3 or 4 rugs for adding rug tape and whipping the edges.   I’ll see what edge- finishing progress I can make on  my “Stalking the Rare Wild Padula”  rug, my “Old Crow Farm” Magdalena-style rug and my “Joy is a Bluebird Morning” rug.

But I had some time to hook on this new rug so here we go on the third day!

Hope everyone is having fun, whatever you are doing!

Here is…Progress on Day 3…Happy Hooking!  Sunnie  🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. That rug looks like so much fun and I love those great colors. Love how even your hoops are. Mine are never that perfect. Maybe I should listen to Pachelbel Canon in D Major when I hook and learn to relax. hehe.
    Hook on Sunnie.

  2. The blues and greens are fun to work with…and it will be easy to tell where I am going with this in a few more photos!!!! …lol…

The Hook-In “Hookity-Do Dah”…is a terrific time to have fun and see what all the other rug hookers are working on. Great pieces from the simple primitives to the most intricate fine shaded pieces!!!!
    Hugs, Sunnie 🙂
