Mystery Rug -“Sea Life C”-Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs-Day 21

Well, of course…I turned that little empty space on the motif shown in yesterday’s post to little eyeballs so the swirl is now a sea critter!!!!!    🙂   Hooray!!!

Now for more fun hooking today in the left center section.   I  mentally divided this rug into 6 “sections” to  work on.   papergridmermaid

I started in the lower right corner as shown and followed the red line to hook in the other boxes.     I am now working in the left middle section.   In each “box”, I decided what looked good with the previous section and also extended motifs into the next area if I thought that would look good.   It’s a great way to work on this type of rug!!!

So here is Progress on Day 21… Happy Hooking!  Sunnie  🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!
