New Mystery Rug-“EorR”-Aug 2016-Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs-Day 15

“We seemed to be walking along a path in the garden.   And we found ourselves thinking of earth and air and water…needed for life.”

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Quick post today!   Since I am deciding on colours and some motifs as I go, I am having fun with a lot of them.   I love it when something funny crops up in my mind and I am able to use it on the rug I am hooking!   I will tell you about it after the finish of this rug…but I can’t help but laugh while I am hooking it…!!!

On Day 15, I did some border work and then worked on the lower rug center for a bit.   I will do more border work today as I need to keep up with it.

I would hate to be stuck simply hooking borders day after day!!!!    🙂

So here is Progress on Day 15…I may have to tone down this initial but will leave it until I get more of the lower center finished.   Then I can see if it is too bright.   I don’t want my initials to overshadow the rug!!!!!!!     Also, I think the left hand leaf against the cascading blues might blend in too much.   I will darken it.    Happy Hooking!   Sunnie   🙂
