New 2017 Mystery Rug-“WTTPG”-Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs-Day 5

Quick post today!   I was working on this rug and also my first Challenge piece!     🙂

And…trying to find places for some of my furniture and decorative items in the living and dining rooms…moving them into other places to prepare for some electrical work in a couple of weeks!!!

A busy day…I am really loving this background wool!   The colour is like hooking with buttercream frosting, really warm and yummy on this cold and windy day.

We are having some unusual winter weather here in the Portland-Vancouver area.   Usually, it is gray and rainy…in the 40 degrees or so.   We’ve had 20 and 30 degree days and nights with wind, sun and no rain.   It is supposed to last another week or so.

So here is Progress on Day 5…

Happy Hooking, and stay warm!   Sunnie   🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!
