New Mystery Rug-RIAMOP-2017-Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs/folk art-Day 5

Quick post today…enjoyed our Wednesday gathering (The Vancouver Group!) yesterday so I am getting a bit of hooking done today.   When I have the group here, I do a lot of edge-finishing and sewing on hanging sleeves, etc.   Also sewing on labels, etc.   I get a lot done!   It is usually pretty boring “finishing” rugs… so doing it while visiting with other rug hookers is always great…!!!

I have enhanced this photo just a bit so you can better see the different colours I am using.

Here is Progress on Day 5…I still have a lot of leaves and other motifs to go…!!!!   Happy Hooking!   Sunnie   🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Your leaves looks really nice. I love those colors.
I’m so glad that you host those hook-in with the other rug hookers. It sure makes life very interesting and having something to look forward to. I like that you use that time to finish off binding rugs.
    Happy November dear Sunnie.
    Hugs, Julia
