Lady Nesta Birdwhistle-new Mystery-2018/Sunnie/rug hooking/hooked rugs-Day 3

This rug is such fun!!!!!

I haven’t even decided on Lady Nesta’s colour yet…and she is the star of the show!!!!!!!    (of course, you are used to me doing things backwards or oddly so it won’t surprise you!!!!)       As you can see, I am working from the bottom of the rug to the top and from the right side to the left side!

This piece is approx 24 x 24 inches and done in #3, 4, 5 and 6 cuts.   I am deciding on colours as I go.

TA DA…Today, we start the news article for that delightful publication RUFFLED FEATHERS………… we go…shown below…..

“The radiant and glamorous Lady Nesta is all smiles as she is photographed arriving at the Round Robin Royal Garden Party  which was held last week.”………………….(to be continued)

And…here is today’s Progress.   Thank you for coming on this silly adventure with me!   Hopefully, a smile and a laugh is a nice part of any day since there are so many things that we cannot control!!!!!

Happy Hooking…or whatever you are creating at the moment.   Sunnie   🙂

I am a folk artist now living in Vancouver, Washington. We loved our Vermont "Old Crow Farm" but now I live in a little cottage with a bright yellow front door! I no longer have my business but still love designing and hooking rugs and experimenting with colour...! I do "mystery rugs" on my Blog and that is great fun!

  1. Sunnie, you are coming along nicely. Love the flowersOh, the intrigue has begun. I can’t wait for more of the story. Love the flowers. But… what happened to the radiant and glamorous Lady Nesta? I guess we will have to wait and see.
